Brand campaign | Digital and Motion

In 2019, Forestry Commission England rebranded the land-management and commercial part of the organisation to Forestry England which acts as the largest land manager in the country, looking after 250,000 hectares of woods, forests and areas of open land.

Our task was to help Forestry England articulate their role and communicate this in their first-ever brand campaign, which aimed to increase awareness of their new name, and help their audiences better understand the scope, scale and importance of the work they do.
Stemming from the idea that ‘WE ARE FORESTRY ENGLAND’ includes the words ‘WE ARE FOR’, we developed a concept that clearly promotes Forestry England’s care and creation of forests. Using a mixture of emotive phrases and Forestry England’s responsibilities, we crafted a campaign that both educated and appealed to their audiences.
We created a set of guidelines and templates which included advice and inspiration on how to bring the ‘WE ARE FORESTRY ENGLAND’ campaign to life.  We also created a 30 second video on demand and social advert, alongside a digital out of home campaign, which featured in major train stations across the UK.
