The challenge

In order to engage with new audiences, ZSL London Zoo needed an identity and campaign to help promote their new adults-only after hours event. The campaign needed to shift pre-conceptions of the zoo being a daytime attractions just for kids, to a cool, quirky Friday night venue for the after-work London crowd.

The solution

We created a brand positioning, identity and campaign for the Zoo’s late night offering, encouraging adult visitors to ‘see the zoo in a whole new light’. Inspired by festival posters and set against a backdrop of nightfall across the city, a set of iconic animal illustrations were created to reflect the events unique mix of wildlife and city life, positioning Zoo Nights as a quirky and unmissable Friday night out in the heart of a vibrant city.
